Quinn Infrastructure are excited to announce the opening of its new regional office in Birmingham.

After success on Network Rail Frameworks for the LNW South Route and delivering successful projects for the Works Delivery Team, our business strategy is to develop our offering in the Midlands.

This started with the successful delivery of the London Midland Fitters Refurbishment Project at Birmingham New Street Station, whereby we undertook the Principal Contractors role to deliver the project to relocate the staff and then refurbish a retail unit facility to adequately accommodate the 16 staff covering GRIP stages 6-8 – implementation, hand back and close out.

The works included Painting and Decoration, Kitchen Installation, Electrical Installation, Mechanical Installation and Building Fabric Installation. The project was completed by our Southern Operations Division, headed up by Andy Clifton, Head of Operations – Southern Rail.

Since the completion of the Fitters Refurbishment project and showcasing Quinn Infrastructure’s capability, we are now the preferred supplier for all heating and cooling works both on New Street Station and the surrounding Depot and Signalling facilities and preferred supplier for maintaining the blast proof doors at New Street Station.

Andy also added:

“Developing our regional presence in the Midlands felt like a natural progression with the volume of works we are currently delivering and our project delivery team in Birmingham are doing a fantastic job, allowing us to strengthen our relationships with the Train Operating Company’s functioning in the Midlands.”

We are currently delivering another rail project for the full refurbishment of all three sets of public toilets at New Street Station to bring them up to a high standard, ensuring enhancement of the customer experience, which has been running since the beginning of the year and we are on programme to complete in November.
